Tom Putney is the Managing Member and Chief Compliance Officer of JLP Capital Management. Tom holds Series 7, 66, 3 and 34 securities registrations. He is also licensed to offer insurance in the states of New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Nevada. Tom has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry finding solutions to his clients’ challenges and helping to protect their assets.

Tom is a graduate of Stockton University with an undergraduate degree in Business Studies. He also holds a Masters Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Miami. Tom is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

 

After spending his first 13 years in the industry with large firms, Tom founded JLP Capital Management, a Registered Investment Advisor, to create a true atmosphere of putting his clients’ best interest first.

 

Focusing on retirement planning for those age 50+ or those looking for reduced volatility, Tom is passionate about working within the realities of the financial markets. In order to achieve this, he has developed proprietary processes to help protect clients from the potential pitfalls their life savings could experience.

 

Tom has been married 23 years to his wife Christina and they reside in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey with their three children.
